We x402-enable your API in 48 hours

Who this is for

• You have a working HTTP API or MCP server, and you want agents to pay per request instead of signing up for a plan.
• You’re on the waitlist for Cloudflare’s Monetization Gateway (closed beta, US only), or you’re outside the US and can’t join it.
• You’ve read the x402 docs and don’t want to spend a week on v1/v2 compatibility, facilitators, Bazaar metadata and directory forms.

What we’ve actually built (and what we haven’t)

• We run 5 x402 APIs of our own at api.youraitools.co (AgentGate, WebRead, InjectScan, DomainCheck, PayGuard). Each has x402 v1 + v2, Bazaar discovery, a remote MCP and an npm stdio MCP, and they’re listed on the CDP Bazaar, Agentic.Market, the Official MCP Registry, x402scan and 402 Index. • This service reuses that code as a tested proxy template (11 automated tests: 402 format, no charge on errors, v1 and v2 payments, MCP).
• We haven’t done a client deployment yet. You’d be one of our first. That’s why the price is low and the refund terms are generous (below).
• We can’t promise revenue. x402 traffic is still early. What we deliver is a working, discoverable paywall.

Packages (USDC on Base)

Bigger or unusual APIs (path parameters, streaming, non-JSON bodies, other chains) get a quote after scoping. We only quote what we’ve tested.

How it works (48 hours from kickoff)

1. Intake (free). Send your API docs or OpenAPI spec and the routes you want paid. Within 24 hours we reply with a yes/no, the package, the route list and suggested prices.
2. Kickoff. Pay 50% upfront. The 48-hour clock starts once we have the deposit and everything on the list below.
3. Build (hours 0–24). We configure the proxy for your routes, prices and wallet, and test it against your real API.
4. Staging check (around hour 24). We send you a test URL on Base Sepolia (test USDC) so you can see the 402s, a paid call and the MCP tools.
5. Go live (hours 24–48). We deploy to your Cloudflare account on your domain, switch to Base mainnet, make one $0.001 test payment to prove settlement into your wallet, and submit to the directories.
6. Handover. You get the source (zip or a push to your GitLab or Bitbucket), a runbook, the directory statuses with links, and the test-payment transaction hash. The remaining 50% is due after you confirm the acceptance checks.

Acceptance checks: an unpaid call returns a valid 402 (v2 header and v1 body); a paid call returns your API’s answer and settles to your wallet; a bad request returns 400 with no charge; the MCP lists your tools (Standard and Pro).

What we need from you

• An HTTP(S) API with stable, documented request and response formats (an OpenAPI spec is ideal). Fixed paths work best; path parameters such as /items/{id} need a small mapping.
• A Base wallet address you control (payments go straight there). We never ask for a private key or seed phrase.
• An API key for our proxy to call your API with, stored as an encrypted Cloudflare secret. A dedicated key you can revoke is best.
• A Cloudflare account (the free plan is fine) where you can add us as a member, or a call where you run wrangler deploy yourself. You also need a subdomain such as pay.yourdomain.com.
• Optional: CDP API keys (free, from your Coinbase Developer Platform account) if you want automatic CDP Bazaar / Agentic.Market indexing; an icon; and an npm account (Pro) to publish the MCP package under your name.
• One contact who answers within a few hours during the 48-hour window.

Payment

• 50% upfront at kickoff and 50% after the acceptance checks pass.
• Include your intake reference in the email, or send the transaction hash from the wallet you used.

Refund policy (plain terms)

• Before we start: if we decline after intake, or you cancel before kickoff, you haven’t paid anything.
• If we miss 48 hours (counted from when we have the deposit and everything we asked for), you can cancel and we return the full deposit, or you can keep waiting.
• If it doesn’t work: if the acceptance checks can’t pass because of something on our side, we return the full deposit.
• If your API changes or access is withdrawn mid-build so we can’t finish, we keep only the deposit share for work already done and tell you what’s left.
• After acceptance: fixes are covered for the support period of your package. We don’t refund for low traffic or low revenue, because nobody can promise demand.
• Refunds go back in USDC on Base to the wallet that paid, within 3 business days.

FAQ

Do you hold my money?

No. Agents pay your wallet directly through the x402 facilitator. Our fee is the only thing paid to us.

Who runs the server?

You do. It’s a Cloudflare Worker on your account (free tier up to 100k requests a day), and you get the full source code.

Do I need crypto experience?

You need a Base wallet that can receive USDC (e.g. Coinbase Wallet, or a Coinbase account address on Base). That’s all.

What do callers pay in fees?

Base gas is paid by the facilitator. The CDP facilitator is free for the first 1,000 transactions a month and $0.001 each after that, at the time of writing. PayAI has a free tier. Check their current terms.

Will agents actually find and pay me?

We make you discoverable in the main x402 and MCP directories. Traffic depends on how useful the API is. We won’t promise numbers.

Can I keep my Stripe or API-key customers?

Yes. The proxy only adds a new pay-per-call door. Your existing endpoints stay as they are.

What about v1 clients (x402-fetch, Python x402 1.x)?

Supported. Every paid route accepts both v1 X-PAYMENT and v2 PAYMENT-SIGNATURE.

Is this legal?

You’re selling your own API for a stablecoin. Taxes and any licensing in your country are your responsibility, and we’re not your legal advisor.
