AI agent builders compared: pricing and crypto/x402 support

Updated 2026-10-22 · listed A to Z, not ranked

AI agent builders let you set up an AI model that uses tools (apps, APIs, other workflows) to finish a task. Some started as automation platforms and added agents; others are built around agents from the start.

Because this site covers crypto-paid tools, we also checked whether each one supports x402 or crypto payments. Listed A to Z.

How we checked: Prices are from each vendor’s official pricing page on Oct 22, 2026. “x402 / crypto” means native support documented on the vendor’s own pages. We found none; every one of them can call an HTTP API, so an x402 payment flow can be built with custom code or HTTP steps.

How they differ

  • Self-hosting: n8n and Dify can run on your own server; the others are cloud only.
  • Billing unit: n8n charges per workflow execution, Make by credits per action, Lindy by credits, Dify per workspace, Zapier by tasks.
  • Paying for tools with crypto: none of them has a native x402 or wallet feature today. If your agent needs to pay per call in USDC, the self-hosted options (n8n, Dify) give you the most room to add a wallet and an x402 client yourself.

Paying for agent tools in USDC

If you want an agent to buy data or services per call without API keys, look at x402 APIs for AI agents and paid MCP servers, which many of these builders can connect to over MCP.
